Pastor's Bio

Elder Myron Feggins is a native of Newville, Alabama and the eldest son of Rufus & Mamie Feggins.  He graduated from Headland High School in 1974.  After High School, he enlisted in the U. S. Navy where he served honorably until he retired in 1994.  In 1995, he was employed by FEDEX where he held a position of Operations Manager until December 2003, when he received an early retirement at that job.  He attended Piedmont Community College in Charlottesville, Va., Liberty University in Lynchburg Va. and ITT Theological Seminary in Atlanta Ga.

 

In 1994, God saved him and called him and he has been serving God faithfully ever since.  Elder Feggins has served in three churches, House of Prayer Church of God in Christ in Warner Robins, Georgia, New Hope Church of God in Christ, in Fort Valley, Georgia, and Shiloh Ministries Church of God in Christ in Warner Robins, Georgia, where he was an associate minister.  He has served as the Finance Chairman, Chairman of Trustee Board, Choir Member, Men’s Dept. President, S/S Teacher and Bible Study Teacher.  He currently serves as the District Evangelist for the Middle Georgia District.  God called him to pastorialship and he began by opening New Vision Church of God in Christ, located in Byron, Georgia where their slogan is “Effecting change in people, one soul at a time.” Pastor Feggins has a jail ministry and a prison ministry where many have been saved under these ministries.  He is married to Evangelist Helen Feggins, and to this union, 3 children were born, Shalitha, Myron Jr., and Bryant. They also have 6 grandchildren.

 

But most of all, he is SAVED, SANCTIFIED, and BAPTIZED in the HOLY SPIRIT and he has a desire to do the will of GOD.
